As the Eagles struggled to put distance between themselves and a 1-5 Browns team, boos rained down from the stands, prompting Sirianni to engage with fans in a way that raised eyebrows and questions.

Wearing a sly grin, Sirianni later downplayed the confrontation, stating he was simply "excited to get the win."

He took a moment to appreciate the home crowd's impact, crediting their noise for inducing crucial false-start penalties from the visiting team. However, the coach didn't shy away from acknowledging that the negativity from fans could be tough to swallow.

"We thrive off the crowd when they cheer for us. That's all I'll say," Sirianni said. "We hear them when they boo. We don't necessarily like it. I don't think that's productive for anybody."

The reaction from the crowd is understandable, given the Eagles' inconsistent offensive performance this season. With high-profile talents like A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, the expectations were sky-high.

Yet since an impressive 34-point opener against the Packers, the Eagles have managed just 18 points per game over the last four outings. Brown's injury has certainly stung, but fans were left feeling restless as "Fire Nick" chants echoed through the stadium during particularly frustrating moments.

Sirianni's passionate demeanor returned in full force against the Browns. He was vocal with both players and officials, showing a level of intensity that had been somewhat muted in recent weeks. This shift was not lost on his players, who expressed a desire for their coach to bring back that fire.

"I was having fun. And I kind of got some feedback from the guys, the sense of like, 'We need you back, Nick. We need your energy. We need your focus,'" he said, hinting that his players pushed for this renewed approach.

Quarterback Jalen Hurts stood by his coach, emphasizing the trust they have in Sirianni's leadership.

"It's about doing it together," Hurts said.
