Eminem Was Letting 49ers Fans Have It From His Suite

NFL Championship Sunday wasn't just for Taylor Swift, as superstar rapper Eminem made his own presence felt at the NFC Championship.

Eminem didn't let the fact that the Detroit Lions were on the road for the NFC Championship Game damper his enthusiasm with his team 60 minutes from their first Super Bowl berth, nor did he hold back from sparring with 49ers fans.

The Lions' most famous fan got under 49ers' fans skin from his luxury box at Levi Stadium's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif. At one point during Sunday's NFC Championship Game, Eminem fired off a double middle-finger to the San Francisco fans surrounding his box.

As it turns out, there's a mutual admiration society between the Lions and Eminem.

Prior to the game, Lions quarterback Jared Goff walked into the stadium wearing an Eminem T-shirt.

Marshall Mathers, his given name, was also in attendance for the Lions' previous two playoff victories this postseason at Ford Field, where thousands of fans crammed into on Sunday night for a watch party of the title game against the 49ers. Meanwhile, in California, Eminem was living his best life, sticking true to character with the double-bird flashed at Niners fans.

Through the first half of Sunday's game, the Lions dominated, jumping out to a 24-7 lead over the NFC's No. 1 seed, with wide receiver Jameson Williams and running back duo Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery each finding the end zone.

The winner of Sunday's game will meet Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII. If the Lions advance, the starpower of Eminem and Swift would rival any celebrity fan duo the NFL has seen in recent history.
