Erin Andrews has long been one of the defining faces of sports media. A veteran of big-game sidelines and high-pressure interviews, she ranks among the most influential personalities in the business. But even after decades in the spotlight, she says the criticism never really goes away.

"Everyone at home will say, 'Oh, her voice sucks. That report was stupid,'" Andrews told Us Weekly. "How could you know? I'll repeat exactly what a head coach tells me at halftime. And they're like, 'Really, Erin?'"
Her point is simple. She's delivering exactly what the coaches say. If fans don't like it, that's not really on her.
"People just think they can do better," she said, before adding with some exasperation, "OK, you go do it. You try to do this."
Andrews remains a cornerstone of Fox's NFL coverage, but she's not the one drawing the most fire these days. That role belongs to Tom Brady, who is in his second season as Fox's lead analyst. Brady signed a record $375 million deal to step into the booth, and with that kind of money comes scrutiny.
Andrews' perspective is a reminder that criticism is baked into the job. Broadcasters at her level are highly paid, highly visible and inevitably judged in real time. But while she's had to hear it all, her candid response underscores what fans often forget: broadcasting in the spotlight is harder than it looks.
