ESPN made a drastic change to its fantasy football format that fans should love

ESPN unveils drastic change to fantasy football scoring that should make fans excited.

  • Perhaps the most frustrating way to lose points in fantasy football is when you have an elite defense, but it loses points because the quarterback for that team throws a pick-6.

Luckily for fantasy football players, ESPN is making a change to fix that rule.

Now, if you have the Denver Broncos defense and Trevor Siemian throws a pick-6, the Broncos defense won't lose points. It will lose points on the extra point or two-point conversion, though.

Last year, there were 56 defensive touchdowns in the NFL. Imagine how many fantasy football matchups and championships have been decided because of that rule.

The changes should be pretty popular among fantasy football players. Just make sure if you're a league commissioner that you let everyone know the rule has been changed before it causes an argument within your league.
