Ex-Patriots rookie arrested on assault charges after string of late-night incidents

If true, he's in for some trouble.

New England Patriots practice squad player J.J. Worton was arrested late Saturday night for allegedly assaulting a man and touching two women inappropriately, according to WCVB.

According to the report, Worton touched two women inappropriately, and when a boyfriend confronted the player about it, Worton knocked him unconscious. Worton is being charged with two counts of indecent assault and battery and one count of assault and battery, per the report.

Worton alleges he brushed against the women and was forced to defend himself after the boyfriend came at him.

Worton, a rookie from University of Central Florida, is not a member of the Patriots after his practice squad contract expired.
