Ezekiel Elliott's appeal for a six-game suspension handed down by the NFL has been heard in full. Given that the Cowboys open the 2017 season on Sunday, Sept. 10 against the New York Giants in Arlington, it makes sense that at least the Dallas side of things would love to know the end result by the beginning of next week. It has to be noted that simply putting pressure on does not necessarily dictate Henderson's movements but word breaking in this fashion is probably a good thing for those hoping for a speedy conclusion. Finally, Elliott's suspension could be reduced or even eliminated altogether based on the ruling, leaving many surrounding the franchise (and within Elliott's inner circle) holding their breath.
