The Cowboys and running back Ezekiel Elliott have had a whirlwind year. Every week seems to beg the question of "Will Elliott play or be suspended this week?" It looks like he will not be suspended quite yet for those six games the NFL wants him to serve.
Elliott was supposed to be unable to play this week, but the NFLPA did put out a last ditch effort to get him on the field and it appears to have worked for now. There's no time table on how long it will take the 3-judge panel to come together and make a decision.
It would appear the Cowboys get to stay alive in the NFC East for another week with Elliott around. He has rushed for 690 yards, six touchdowns, has 210 receiving yards and two touchdowns through the air in seven games this season.
