Josh Allen Gets Honest on This Year's Bills Team
People were not sure what to expect from the Buffalo Bills this season. They fell to the Kansas City Chiefs yet again in last year's playoffs in addition to having a lot of big losses during the offseason. But their biggest loss was their star wide receiver Stefon Diggs who they traded to the Houston Texans.
The Bills are rolling to this point of the regular season. They are sitting on top of the AFC East division with a record of 9-2 and their starting quarterback Josh Allen is playing like an MVP candidate. Allen attributed the Bills' players not caring about their individual stats, which some perceived as a shot at Diggs.
"That's the beauty of it when guys get to buy into this and really understand like I may not get the ball four or five times thrown to me a game but the one or two times I do, I'm going to have opportunities to be in the end zone," Allen said.
"It's a fun and wonderful thing when you got a bunch of guys that don't care about the stats, they don't care about the touchdowns."
