Fans Outraged by Joe Buck's Monday Night Football Commentary

Despite there being tons of star power on the field in these primetime matchups, it was Monday Night Football analyst Joe Buck, who was the hot topic on Monday night. In what has become a weekly tradition, fans were outraged by Buck's commentary during the Monday Night Football telecast. They voiced their displeasure on social media.

"It really is such bull**** that Joe Buck just does Monday Night Football now. What a waste," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Please keep Joe Buck away from the things I love," another fan added.

Famed Analyst Gets Honest on Critics

Before joining ESPN in 2022, Buck was a Fox Sports. The star analyst joined the network in 1994, spending the majority of his career there. But in 2022 Buck received the opportunity of a lifetime. The chance to do color commentary for Monday Night Football.

Fans have expressed their disdain for Buck since he was at Fox. And the analyst is aware that many people frankly, just do not like him. Which he says was a surprising revelation at first.

"I just didn't feel like anybody really cared about this stuff. I do feel like when you do it for 20 years and you mix in six Super Bowls and all those NFC championship games, you gain the public's trust," Buck said.

"If you do it the right way, I think you end up getting a sound that comes out of your voice that makes it sound like a big event, and I think that's what ESPN is hoping for and trying to buy."
