Hall of Famer Shares Concerns About Caleb Williams

There was a lot of optimism coming into this season for the Chicago Bears. After drafting quarterback Caleb Williams with the first pick in last year's draft it seemed that things were finally trending in the right direction in Chicago. But to this point, Williams' rookie season in Chicago has been a disappointment. This year has been another failure for Chicago Fans as they are outside the playoff picture and dead last in the NFC North Division.

But it is not just Williams' lackluster numbers that have been alarming. His body language on the bench has also been concerning over the past few weeks as you can see he is clearly frustrated. Monday Night Football analyst and NFL Hall of Famer Troy Aikman believes that Williams could develop a confidence issue if things continue to trend this way.

"We were watching him on the sidelines, he was grimacing and in an enormous amount of pain. And as I watch him, you can tell that he's a defeated guy," Aikman said.

"I mentioned that he hasn't been through anything like this at any point in his career. What you worry about is a rookie quarterback losing confidence."
