Fans Rip Travis Kelce After Lackluster Performance

But despite the Chiefs' dominance this season, some fans remain unhappy. Star tight Travis Kelce was the latest Chiefs player to come under fire. He had five receptions for 30 yards in their win against Houston.

As many fans are now in the midst of the fantasy football playoffs, they were outraged by Kelce's pedestrian performance and went scorched earth on social media.

"Kelce is washed so bad," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Travis Kelce looks so old and washed up he just feeling up space he might as well retire after this year regardless of what happens," another fan added.

Tom Brady Gets Honest on Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes

The Chiefs' journey to the postseason has been no walk in the park. They have faced some of the most talented teams in the NFL this season, including the Baltimore Ravens, Atlanta Falcons, and San Francisco 49ers. Even more impressive is that the Chiefs have done so while dealing with a slew of injuries to their roster.

In addition, Chiefs' quarterback Patrick Mahomes' numbers have taken a significant dip, toeing the line of being pedestrian. However, even though Mahomes seems to have taken a step back, NFL legend Tom Brady says the way he continues to find ways to win has been most impressive.

"But what I love about his game is he's just finding ways to win. I just think he's doing whatever he needs to help this team win," Brady said.

"And he knows he's got a defense that's going to limit points, limit yards, and when you have that, it's just a different mentality for a quarterback. He doesn't have to feel like he goes out there and it's like bombs over Baghdad. He just takes what they give him. If it's not there, he throws it away. Plays field position. Get some contributions in special teams and just an all-around great team effort for a great team win."
