Fans Slam Justin Herber After 4-Int Performance

After arguably the best season of his career, many fans believed that the Chargers starting quarterback had finally turned a corner and would be able to lead Los Angeles to a deep playoff run.

Unfortunately, that notion was nothing more than a notion. Herbert had his worst performance of the season, throwing one touchdown and four interceptions as the Chargers fell to the Texans 31-12 in the NFL Wild Card.

With the expectations for Herbert being so high for Herbert coming into this matchup, he once again fell way short. And fans did not hold back on social media after another dismal performance.

"Easily one of the biggest collapses of a QB in the playoffs I've ever seen," one fan said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"4 INTs in a playoff game is Crazy," another user added.

Justin Herbert Leading The Charge in the LA Locker Room

After a lackluster 2023 season, the Los Angeles Chargers have returned with a vengeance. Under the leadership of first-year head coach Jim Harbaugh, the Chargers are in the playoffs after a successful regular season where they went 11-6.

In addition, Justin Herbert has looked like a brand-new quarterback under the new Harbaugh regime. He has thrown 23 touchdowns and just three interceptions this season.

The energy around the Chargers locker room has become positive and it has been infectious as Herbert's teammates are beginning to take notice.

"I feel like everybody's having more fun this year. We've got a good culture going and Justin's definitely the leader of that," Chargers offensive tackle Rashawn Slater told ESPN. "Whenever we see him have that energy, it's very infectious. As long as I've known Justin, he's been the ultimate competitor, but I love that he's been a little more animated."
