During a Kansas City Chiefs-Denver Broncos game in 2013, Van Winkle exited the contest to the parking lot, where he fell asleep in a green Jeep similar to the one his party tailgated around, according to the report.
Per the report and court records, Bradley attempted to wake Van Winkle when an argument ensued. Van Winkle reportedly fell to the ground, and Bradley repeatedly attacked him on the pavement, leading to the fan's death.
