Forget Carson Wentz, this QB is now the flavor of the week

The Browns should have their choice at No. 2.

Don't look now, but the Cleveland Browns (holder of the No. 2 overall draft pick) have taken extra interest in quarterback prospect Jared Goff.

Like most quarterbacks, Goff's pro day drew wild reviews after his choreographed session with familiar receivers in an ideal setting went off without a hitch.

According to CSN Bay Area, it was after Goff's throwing session that things took a turn with the Browns:

"Pep Hamilton, the Browns' associate head coach, doused the football with water and then instructed Goff to throw a couple of deep outs."

According to Pro Football Talk, Hamilton recruited Goff during his time at Stanford before the quarterback landed at Cal, so the extra interest isn't exactly surprising. Barring the Tennessee Titans moving the No. 1 overall pick, nothing will hold Hamilton back from finally getting his guy, should Cleveland choose to go that route.
