The New England Patriots have done a remarkable job rebuilding their squad while acquiring assets ahead of April's NFL Draft.

That didn't stop Kraft from reportedly penning a letter to the NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, in an attempt to get back his team's first-round pick taken as part of the DeflateGate penalties (the Patriots also were docked $1 million and a 2017 fourth-round pick), per Pro Football Talk.
It's certainly unlikely Goodell would be willing to give New England its draft pick back as the league is still wrapped up in an appeal of quarterback Tom Brady's four-game suspension that was wiped away last year in court. But as proved in last year's trial, the league's evidence against the Patriots doesn't hold much ground.
You've got to appreciate Kraft's push to do what he thinks is right even when the likelihood of that changing is extremely unlikely.
