Tim Tebow has had his fair share of chances in the NFL, and there's a reason he's not on a professional roster.
Former Denver Broncos teammate Champ Bailey spoke to Colin Cowherd on The Herd and was asked who excelled in games, but weren't great in practice. The choice was easy for Bailey, and he let loose without hesitation on Tebow, via SDS:
"He was not great in practice," Bailey said during a recent interview with Colin Cowherd. "When you tell the scout team to back off of a guy, let him make some plays, make some throws, that's not a good practice player. Most players in practice want to be challenged, like it's a game.
"...So we tried to enable (the run game) and help him along, but when it was game-time, you didn't know what to expect because he didn't practice well all week but this guy's a gamer and he just turned it on in games."
Tebow finished his two seasons in Denver with a combined 8-6 record, while going 1-1 in the playoffs. He only threw eight pass attempts as a member of the New York Jets before two failed ventures with the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles, respectively.
