Atlanta Falcons running back Devonta Freeman isn't lacking in confidence.
The former Florida State back recently said he thinks he is the best running back in the NFL, according to Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
"I think I am the best back in the NFL," Freeman said. "I feel like I can do it all. You need me to block, make you miss, run past you, run you over, catch out of the backfield, run great routes like receivers can — I can do it all. It's just a blessing to be utilized in this offense to showcase all of my talent."
Freeman rushed for 1,079 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Falcons while splitting carries with Tevin Coleman.
Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott and Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell are widely considered to be the best backs in the league, and while Freeman had another solid season, he wasn't as dynamic as Elliott, Bell or Arizona Cardinals running back David Johnson.
