Former FSU star is already making waves in the NFL, deserves Defensive Rookie of the Year consideration

The play of rookie cornerback Jalen Ramsey was one of the only bright spots for the Jacksonville Jaguars this season

The Jacksonville Jaguars were in large part a complete and utter mess in 2016.

The team kicked the season off with a three-game losing streak that was only briefly interrupted by two straight wins before wrapping things up by losing 10 of their last 11.

The play of rookie cornerback Jalen Ramsey was quite possibly the only silver lining. The fifth overall pick out of Florida State delivered on all fronts, putting his name at or near the top of the list for Defensive Rookie of the Year consideration.

While Ramsey only intercepted two passes on the year, he was surprisingly strong in run support with 65 tackles and posted a rookie class-leading 14 passes defensed.
