Former New England Patriots defensive tackle arrested on Texas A&M campus

Former NFL defensive tackle Mark Wheeler was arrested on drug charges on the Texas A&M campus, according to KBTX.

Wheeler, 46, was arrested just after 1 a.m. after he was found with marijuana and cocaine in his truck, according to the report.

Wheeler played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles over his eight-year career. He registered 217 tackles, 16.0 sacks and two forced fumbles in 77 career starts.
