Former NFL GM has a shocking take on what the NFL will look like in 10 years

The NFL as we know it could be done.

As penalties become more offensive-friendly, concussions receive more attention from the league and player safety shifts into the NFL's focus, at least one former general manager believes the league will take a serious shift in the next 10 years.

This would be a massive overhaul to the system in place, essentially removing the physicality that comes from inside the "trenches" and shifting to a more athletic, agile league.

For a game built on guys knocking heads, it would truly be shocking for the NFL to transform into essentially an entirely different sport. We'll see if this same mentality trickles down to college football and pee wee leagues.
