Former Atlanta Falcons linebacker Kroy Biermann is back in the headlines, and this time, it has nothing to do with football.

Biermann, who spent his entire NFL career with the Falcons after being drafted in 2008, is now making a renewed push for primary custody of his four minor children with estranged wife Kim Zolciak, according to court documents.
And let's just say it's not exactly a calm situation.
Biermann is asking a judge to grant him permanent physical and legal custody, arguing the current setup — where each parent has two kids at a time — has kept the children from being together consistently. In his filing, he claims Zolciak "acts in ways that are harmful" to the kids and says the children would be better off under one roof.
He also alleges she is "unstable and unfit," adding that her focus has been more on personal image and work opportunities than on what's best for the family.
That's obviously serious stuff.
Zolciak's legal team fired back quickly, calling the claims unsupported and saying they'll address everything in court, not in public.
For context, Biermann played several seasons in the NFL and carved out a solid career as a pass rusher and special teams contributor. These days, though, his biggest battle is happening off the field. And it doesn't look like it's ending anytime soon.
