ESPN's Jeff Darlington reported the Bears are seeking a trade partner for Cutler, who has been with the Bears since 2009.
Cutler signed a seven-year, $126 million deal with the Bears prior to the 2013 season, but they might not be on the hook for all of that salary according to MMQB reporter Albert Breer.
It's unclear whether many teams would have interest in Cutler as a starting quarterback. There are younger quarterbacks available, such as Jimmy Garoppolo and A.J. McCarron. And Cutler figures to be behind Tony Romo and Tyrod Taylor on the wishlists of teams in need of a veteran quarterback.
