Former NFL quarterback Mark Brunell doesn't have faith in Robert Griffin III.

While discussing the former No. 2 overall selection Monday on ESPN, Brunell had some brutal comments about the Washington Redskins quarterback.
From Washington Post:
"I do not," Brunell responded when asked if RGIII has what it takes to succeed in the NFL. "From what I've seen the last couple of years — listen, he burst onto the scene and that was impressive — but like I said, he has gone backwards. It's not just his decision-making, it's his fundamentals. He's taking too many hits, he's quick to get out of the pocket. Last year was difficult to watch. Does he have the skill set? Yes, but we haven't seen it in some time."
Griffin has been plagued with injuries during his tenure in the NFL. He suffered two serious knee injuries as a rookie and eventually lost his starting job last season with the Redskins following inconsistent play.
In his second season as head coach, it will be Jay Gruden's job to work with Griffin and see if the two can have a long-term pairing.
