A jury in Nashville, Tennessee, recommended a sentence of life in prison following the verdict. Taylor is scheduled to be formally sentenced Sept. 9.
Prosecutors alleged Taylor poisoned his girlfriend, Jade Benning, in February 2023. Benning died on March 6, 2023, and her unborn child also died following the incident.
Taylor, 30, was convicted on four counts: second-degree murder in Benning's death, first-degree murder in the death of the unborn child, and two counts of first-degree felony murder.
Authorities arrested Taylor in 2024 after an investigation into the deaths.
At the time of his arrest, Taylor was serving as a defensive analyst at the University of Utah. He previously spent four seasons in the Titans' scouting department.
Before beginning his coaching and scouting career, Taylor played defensive back at Arkansas State from 2014-17. A four-year starter, he was a team captain and earned first-team All-Sun Belt honors as both a defensive back and punt returner.
Taylor will remain in custody pending his formal sentencing in September.
