In view of where Kupp grew up in Yakima, Washington, it's around 150 miles southeast of Seattle.
That is, he played his college ball at Eastern Washington, and was then selected in the third round by the Rams in the 2017 NFL Draft.
Undoubtedly, he had a storied career in LA, leading the team in the 2021 season, winning 'the triple crown,' and becoming Super Bowl LVI MVP.
The Rams decided to move on from Kupp, but since they were unable to find a trade suitor for the 31-year-old wideout, he became a free agent.
Kupp released a statement to his fans in LA.
"That is what makes the ending of these last eight years so difficult. It's the ending of something we have enjoyed building with you," Kupp wrote on X. "Thank you for these shared moments. Thank you LA for welcoming my family with open arms and allowing us to grow here. Next chapter starts now. Best is yet to come."

All in all, this is a big pickup for the Seahawks, who were lacking at the wide receiver position, considering they just lost their long-time WR tandem Tyler Lockett (released) and DK Metcalf (traded).
Kupp will join emerging star WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, who had 1,130 yards and six receiving touchdowns in his second NFL season.
The new duo will be catching passes from former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold, who just signed a three-year/$100.5 million contract to play for the Seahawks.
Throughout his NFL career, Kupp has accumulated 634 catches for 7,776 receiving yards and 57 touchdowns.
