Garrett Wilson Has Already Won Catch of the Year for 2023

After losing Aaron Rodgers to an ankle injury earlier in the game, the Jets were on their heels trying to stay alive against the Bills. Backup quarterback Zach Wilson was able to drive the Jets down the field after Josh Allen's third interception when he threw up a 50-50 ball to Wilson near the goal line.

The result? An absolutely outrageous juggling catch in the end zone for a game-tying touchdown. You can watch a clip of the catch below.

Wilson was a huge weapon for the Jets as a rookie after being taken No. 10 overall in the 2022 NFL Draft out of Ohio State. He earned Offensive Rookie of the Year honors last season after racking up 1,103 yards and four touchdowns on 83 catches.

Although Wilson didn't get off to the hottest of starts in Week 1 with Zach Wilson back under center, he made up for it with an impressive touchdown grab to keep the Jets alive.

Regardless of the outcome of the game, Jets fans will be much more concerned with the long-term health of their new quarterback in Aaron Rodgers. The four-time MVP was ruled out in the first half with an ankle injury, and it's still unclear how long he will be out.

Still, on a night that felt like such a letdown for Jets fans after the 39-year-old's injury, it was a relief to see the offense still fighting in a game against a divisional rival.
