Get ready conspiracy theorists for this one on Peyton Manning, Denver Broncos' Super Bowl 50 win

Hmmmmmm.

In a post-game note distributed by the league to media, the NFL mistakenly named Peyton Manning as one of the only two-time Super Bowl MVPs in NFL history.

Unfortunately for the league, Manning has only won the MVP award once. He  earned his second Super Bowl victory Sunday night, but he didn't take home the MVP award.

Only one player has won the MVP award as a member of the losing team (Chuck Howley).

Maybe it's a case of an unfortunate oversight from a round of pre-writes. Or maybe it's truly a conspiracy.

(It's probably just an unfortunate oversight).
