Giants Linebacker 'Likes' Social Media Post Ripping Team

New York Giants fans aren't the only ones feeling the sting of watching Saquon Barkley shine with the Philadelphia Eagles. The star running back's latest performance on Thursday night had to be especially tough for New York to stomach.

Barkley put up 198 yards from scrimmage and found the end zone twice, helping push the Eagles past the Washington Commanders at Lincoln Financial Field.

It's performances like these that keep fueling the debate: Did the Giants make a colossal mistake by letting Barkley walk? The evidence continues to pile up, and it's not just the fans taking note.

Bleacher Report shared a post trolling the Giants over Barkley's dominant game, and it was none other than Giants linebacker Bobby Okereke who "liked" it. That's right, even some of Barkley's former teammates might be questioning the front office's decision-making.

At 2-8, the Giants are heading nowhere fast, while the Eagles, now 8-2, are legitimate contenders. Barkley's league-leading 1,137 rushing yards only add salt to the wound. Sure, Barkley wouldn't have put up those numbers behind New York's line or in their current offensive scheme—the Eagles' stacked roster, including a stellar offensive line and top-tier quarterback, gives him the perfect setup to thrive. But that's beside the point.

What's more telling is the growing sense that not everyone in the Giants' locker room is on board with how the franchise handled Barkley's contract standoff. Okereke's social media activity might be a small gesture, but it speaks volumes about possible discontent within the team. When your own players start showing subtle signs of frustration, it's a red flag for a franchise already struggling to find its way.
