While this was going on, Brady was making his TV debut as a sports commentator, so he missed out on seeing his own kids.
The family dynamics with the Brady's was already pretty shaky, as there were reports last week that the "Roast of Tom Brady," which aired on Netflix at the beginning of May, was evidently causing relationship problems between Gisele and her current partner.
When the show first released, Gisele was reported as saying she was, "deeply disappointed by the disrespectful portrayal of her family on Sunday evening's [May 5] roast show."
On the comedy special, there were many jokes directed at Gisele's new romance. And as a result, this was one of the reasons why Valente was reportedly about to call off his relationship with the supermodel.
Seemingly, Valente doesn't like all the attention that comes with dating the seven-time Super Bowl champion's wife.
"Spotlight was too much for him," an inside source told InTouchWeekly.com. "Joaquim's a regular guy. He's not used to all the attention he was getting... Joaquim became part of the joke. People actually started asking him if he was the reason for their divorce. He hated that."
With that being said, apparently Gisele and her boyfriend worked it out, as they were seen paddleboarding together with Brady's kids Benjamin and Vivian in Flordia, while TB12 was in St. Louis doing his broadcasting gig.
