Here's why a Cowboys fan's tattoo has escalated to him allegedly getting death threats

Cowboys fans show why they're among the most rabid in football.

Although the Dallas Cowboys faithful may be thinking it, when fan Jordan Garnett made it a permanent foregone conclusion by tattooing a massive star on his arm framed by the words, "Super Bowl LI," many on social media were not happy.

Never mind that the Cowboys own the NFL's best record at 11-1, are winners of eleven straight, and can clinch home-field advantage through the playoffs with a win over the New York Giants Sunday.

The prevailing sentiment among fans is that Garnett just put the ultimate jinx on the team.

The backlash got so bad, Garnett even received death threats. We knew Cowboys fans were a rabid bunch, but that's next-level. A close second to Raider Nation, for sure.
