If Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee played 80 percent of the team's snaps, he would trigger a $2 million bonus.

Lee tweaked his hamstring in practice on Thursday and after a brief warmup on Sunday, reportedly didn't feel healthy enough to play against the Washington Redskins. According to SportsDay, Lee voluntarily sat out the game and gave up his bonus in fairness to his teammates.
"It was me who decided to not play," Lee said. "It didn't feel like I was going to be effective enough to help the football team.
"I'm not going to disrespect my teammates and my coaches and be out there not playing the right way."
If Lee had played in 32 snaps on Sunday, he would have triggered the bonus. Instead it appears he's got his eyes set on staying healthy over the long term, not taking home a couple million for playing injured in a meaningless game at the end of a lost season.
