He's looked dreadful in practice, but Cardale Jones lit up his first preseason appearance

He dropped a little more than a dime or two.

Any doubt in Cardale Jones' accuracy should be slowly disappearing with each pass he throws — in preseason action anyway.

Jones had displayed "wild accuracy" since the start of training camp and things seemed to be headed in the wrong direction for the once highly-touted quarterback. A Week 1 preseason game against the Indianapolis Colts helped dispel those notions, even if only temporarily. Jones finished 11-of-21 for 162 yards and one touchdown, nearly leading the Bills to a come-from-behind victory.

Fifty-two percent may not be the hallmark of a starting-caliber quarterback, but judging from the video above, Jones dropped several dimes that could only help his case.

Sure, it's preseason against the Colts third unit, but it's a huge change from what we were seeing from him in practice.
