The first weekend with real, live football until the Super Bowl in February has sadly reportedly been cancelled. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter the paint that was applied to Tom Benson Hall of Fam Field had congealed, making the field's surface unplayable.
Sunday night's Hall of Fame Game from Canton, Oh. was supposed to feature the Green Bay Packers taking on the Indianapolis Colts. It was set to air on ESPN at 8:00 p.m. EST. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport confirmed the news shortly after Schefter's reporting.
Thanks for crushing our football hopes and dreams, congealed paint.
