It’s 2015, and unfortunately women sports journalists still aren’t being treated as equals

Three female sports reporters were kept out of the Jacksonville Jaguars dressing room on Sunday after their 16-13 loss to the Colts in Indianapolis.

Graham Watson of Yahoo Sports and Joey Chandler of the Tuscaloosa News both Tweeted that after the game they were not allowed inside the locker room until the usher first checked to make sure the women were allowed to enter.

The timing of the situation was unfortunate as the women were at the game as part of the Associated Press Sports Editors sports media diversity weekend, USA Today reported.

Guess the usher, who Graham called an "old geezer" just wasn't hip to the term diversity.

All the reporters were allowed to enter after the guard checked with several men first. Public relations from both teams apologized to the women.
