Eagles Fan Jalen Brunson Makes Surprise Appearance on Monday Night Football

New York Knicks point guard Jalen Brunson dropped into Philadelphia on Monday night to watch the Eagles take on the Atlanta Falcons. While he was in town, he chatted it up with another sports legend from the city of brotherly love.

Brunson and Jason Kelce predicted Eagles-Falcons game

Brunson was joined by former Eagles center Jason Kelce on ESPN's pregame show for Monday Night Football. The pair was asked to give their predictions for the matchup ahead and both were seemingly confident of an Eagles win. Kelce initially joked that he was going for the opposing Falcons before chanting out "Birds by 50," a sentiment to which Brunson simply replied, "Ditto."

Knicks Star says NFL is easier than NBA

In the midst of some witty banter and discussion about the upcoming game, Kelce posed a question to the NBA all-star. He began by acknowledging that the question has been brought up a lot recently before asking, "Is it easier for an NBA player to come and play in the NFL, or do you think it's easier for an NFL guy to play in the NBA?"

Brunson immediately responded by saying an NBA player's transition would be easier but was just as quick not to downplay the difficulty of playing professional football. "Not saying it's easy. It's easier." The NBA superstar doubled down on his stance by asking Kelce if he could guard a pick and roll.

"Hey I got this, I'm going right through the pick", Kelce joked in response.

Both athletes went on to give each other their respects for playing their sports at such a high level.

Jason Kelce played for the Philadelphia Eagles for 13 years. As for the Knicks point guard, he spent three years at Villanova playing for Jay Wright's Wildcats. He was a member of the national championship winning squads in 2016 and 2018.
