Jayden Daniels Put On a Show vs. Bengals

This year's #2 overall draft pick showed out in Paul Brown Stadium, completing 21-of-23 throws for 254 yards and two touchdowns - without throwing an interception. He showed off some fancy footwork as well, adding 39 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Daniels ultimately sealed the game with a 27-yard pass to wide receiver Terry McLaurin to put the Commanders over the Bengals.

Ja'Marr Chase Had Great Things to Say About Washington's QB

After the game, star Bengals wideout Ja'Marr Chase was asked what he thought the fellow LSU Tiger's play and he didn't hold back.

"He's a great effing player," Chase admitted. "Not gonna lie. That was my first time sitting down and watching him besides the spring game, so he's a very outstanding player."

Chase put on a show of his own and snagged six catches for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough for the Bengals to escape with a victory. With the loss on Monday, they fell to 0-3 to start the season. Chase expressed that he had "never felt this before" while talking about his team's slow start but asserted that there would be improvements as the season progressed.

"It doesn't feel good, but it happens," he said. "We just gotta learn from it, move on and get ready for the next week."

Joe Burrow Says This Is Not the End of the Bengals' Campaign

With an 0-3 record, the Cincinnati Bengals are statistically out of any serious conversations for the 2024 season. Yet quarterback Joe Burrow insisted that the figures will not determine the rest of his team's season.

"Come tomorrow and watch the tape, improve the things that we can improve," Burrow said in the postgame presser. "Come back on Wednesday and have a great practice, bring great energy and try to get better. That's all you can do.

"We're not happy with where we're at, but by no means is the season over."
