Jameis Winston makes crazy prediction that almost certainly won't come true

Former Florida State QB Jameis Winston is the best quarterback prospect in the draft and should be taken No. 1 overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They are in desperate need of a quarterback, and Winston would be the perfect fit there.

Winston spoke to the media for the first time since his arrival at the NFL combine and was loose, charismatic and funny, all great characteristics you'd want for the face of your franchise. He even admitted that he has made mistakes in the past.

"I know I made mistakes. I know I have a past," Winston said, as he began his media session, and he admitted he had work to do to make teams earn his trust.

There's no doubt that Winston has a ton of confidence himself, but he said one thing that will almost definitely not happen. When comparing himself to fellow QB prospect Marcus Mariota, he said there really isn't any battle.

"This is no competition against me and Marcus Mariota," he said. "I plan on winning the Super Bowl next year so it's gonna be Jameis vs. Peyton Manning or Jameis vs. Tom Brady."

With the possibility of going No. 1 overall, Tampa needs loads of help to be a serious contender, and there's almost no way they'll be a playoff team next season. But Winston would be the right step for the Bucs to take toward another Super Bowl.
