But the Browns came into Week 8 with a new man under center. After their starting quarterback, Jameis Winston. Winston and the Browns shocked the Ravens and a bunch of other people when they came away with a win against the division-leading Ravens. And after the game, he described the victory with an homage to Detroit native and multi-platinum rapper Eminem.

"Man, there's a white boy from Detroit that I really admire, named Eminem," Winston said. " He said you only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow, this opportunity lasts once in a lifetime."

Winston's quote led to tons of fan reactions on social media.

"After everything Jameis has gone through he deserves his moment, he played a hell of a game," one person said on X, formerly known as Twitter.

"Shut it down folks, Jameis just gave me an early Christmas present!!!," another person added.

Browns QB Comes to Deshaun Watson's Defense

Jameis was named the Week 9 starter after the injury to Browns starting quarterback Deshaun Watson. For those tardy to the party, Watson tore his Achilles in the Browns game against the Bengals last weekend. As Deshaun was carted off the field in tears, some fans began to cheer as Watson had been having an abysmal season up to that point. After hearing the fans cheer Watson's injury, Jameis voiced his displeasure.

"The way I was raised, I was taught to love. No matter the circumstances," Winston said, via Cleveland 19 News.

"Especially for people who do right by you. I am very upset to the reaction to a man who has had the world against him for the past four years. And he put his body and life on the line for this city every single day."
