No one expected Jarrett Stidham to lead the Las Vegas Raiders to a win over the NFC West-leading San Francisco 49ers in his first career start. Well, maybe one person did. Sitting with the other Raiders wives and girlfriends in the stands of Allegiant Stadium, watching the football game anxiously, was Jarrett Stidham's wife, Kennedy Stidham. When the Stephenville, Texas, product threw touchdowns to his teammates, Kennedy began to breathe easier. The moment they both had been waiting for had finally arrived.

Who is Jarrett Stidham's Wife, Kennedy Brown Stidham?
Like most NFL quarterbacks and their wives Jarrett and Kennedy Stidham met in college. While Stidham only played college football at Baylor University for one year before transferring to Auburn University, that one year had an immense effect on his life. During that solo year in Waco, Jarrett met Kennedy, a member of the women's soccer team and a double-major in journalism and public relations. From there, the rest is history.
Kennedy, the daughter of former Houston Rockets CEO Tad Brown, said yes to her future husband in July 2018, late in the offseason before his final year at Auburn. "She said yes and I get to marry the girl of my dreams. Here's to forever Kenn, I love you," Stidham posted on Instagram. The two tied the knot in 2019.
Kennedy's father joked that after the engagement, he's answered more questions about his future son-in-law than his NBA team, "especially in the state of Alabama."
Their Growing Family
On April 1, 2022, the couple welcomed a baby girl to their family. Lennon Love Stidham had arrived on the scene and was ready to take social media by storm.
"04.01.22. Lennon Love Stidham. 7 lbs 7 oz. welcome to the world, my love," Kennedy posted on Instagram. It's clear Lennon is lucky to have such loving and supportive parents, even in the early days of her life. And we're sure she'll return the favor as she roots for her dad as he takes on the Kansas City Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills.
Jarrett's NFL Career So Far
Quarterback Stidham was supposed to be Tom Brady's heir apparent for the New England Patriots. The fourth-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft was Josh McDaniels' choice to run the Patriots' offense. After spending a season as Brady's second-string backup, Stidham was in line to take the reins of Bill Belichick's NFL offense. And then the Patriots signed Cam Newton, leaving Stidham in the lurch.
But with his offensive coordinator leaving to assume the Las Vegas Raiders head coaching job, Stidham left New England and opted to take on the role of Derek Carr's backup on the Raiders QB depth chart. Sure, there will be interceptions, and Stidham won't become a walking ESPN highlight reel overnight. However, it's safe to say that early on in his NFL career, Stidham is showing the NFL world that he was the right man for the job in New England and in Las Vegas.
Who knows? Perhaps we'll see Kennedy wearing a New York Jets jersey in the stands over the next few years. Only time will tell.
