Jason Kelce Makes McDonald's Employee's Day as Retirement Rumors Swirl

Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce visited his favorite McDonald's employee and made a special delivery: a signed jersey.

Rumors about his potential retirement from the NFL didn't stop Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center Jason Kelce from going above and beyond to make an employee from his favorite local McDonald's feel special.

On Wednesday, Kelce swung by a McDonald's location that he frequents in Philadelphia and delivered his favorite employee a signed Eagles jersey.

While Kelce turned the tables and delivered a gift to Danielle Bonham rather than her serving his food, the Super Bowl champion revealed that his go-to meal is two sausage-egg-and-cheese sandwiches and a coffee, "every time."

Speculation about Kelce's football future reached a crescendo following the Eagles' 32-9 playoff loss to the Tampa bay Buccaneers on Monday night.

Shortly after the game that ended the Eagles' 2023 season in the NFC Wild Card Game, reports surfaced that Kelce informed his teammates that he is retiring.

However, according to Kelce, those reports are premature and he has yet to make a decision whether he is hanging up his cleats for good this offseason.

"I don't know what next year is going to look like with the team. Coaches, players...," Kelce said on his "New Heights" podcast co-hosted with brother Travis Kelce. "I just want to make sure everybody knows how much I love and respect and appreciate the effort and energy they put into the year. I know the outcome, Philadelphia, was not acceptable, but I love each and every person in that room.

"I just don't think you're in a position after a game like that to really make that decision. I just don't. There's too much emotion in the moment, there's too much going down in the moment, to really fully grasp that decision. I'm not trying to be dramatic and continue to draw this thing out, I'm really not."

Well, I guess we'll just have to wait and see for an official decision.
