The blood letting of NFL head coach firings has already begun, with the New York Giants breaking ties with Ben McAdoo before the 2017 season even came to a close. However, that could be just the beginning if Jay Glazer of FOX Sports proves to be correct, as the always entertaining analyst provided a scenario on Sunday in which nearly half of the league could change over at the most important position on the sideline.

Per @JayGlazer, there could potentially be 13-14 head coaching changes starting as early as this week.

It seems absolutely outrageous to consider 13 or 14 changes in one season and, at the very least, that would be an NFL record. On one hand, names like Bears head coach John Fox, Colts head coach Chuck Pagano and Bucs head coach Dirk Koetter could be on the chopping block with real justification. However, finding as many as ten more coaches deserving of reconsideration would be very difficult.
"Black Monday" is rapidly approaching and, this season, it arrives on New Year's Day to provide a bit of additional cover with the presence of college football bowl games. Still, buzz like this might produce some additional uneasiness around the league, even if it ultimately proves to be an overstatement of just how many coaches are in real trouble at this late juncture.
