Saints Host Workout for Former Pro Bowl and All-American Linebacker

Former Pro Bowl linebacker Jaylon Smith has been working out for NFL teams, including the New Orleans Saints.

Linebacker Jaylon Smith, the former No. 34 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, has been drawing interest from the Las Vegas Raiders and New Orleans Saints this offseason.

According to NFL insider Jordan Schultz, Smith worked out with the Saints today. He previously worked out with the Raiders.

A 2019 Pro Bowler, Smith played with the New York Giants in 2022. He played in 13 games, starting 11 of them. He posted 46 solo tackles, three for loss, and one sack.

Before the Giants, Smith spent two games with the Green Bay Packers and 4+ seasons with the Dallas Cowboys.

Prior to the NFL, Smith was an All-American linebacker at Notre Dame who tore his ACL in the Fiesta Bowl before he was drafted.
