Jeff Ross Insists Tom Brady Wasn't Scolding Him Over Robert Kraft Joke

Perhaps the only tense moment during the ever-popular Tom Brady roast on Netflix involved comedian Jeff Ross. Or more specifically, Ross talking about New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft.

Basically, Ross made a "massage" joke about Kraft, who came under fire a few years back for getting what reportedly were ... well, uh ... scandalous massages in Florida.

During the Brady roast, no topic was off-limits. That included Kraft.

"Tom became a Patriot, moved up to New England, and on the first day of training camp, that scrawny rookie famously walked into the owner Robert Kraft's office and said 'I'm the best decision your organization has ever made,'" Ross said. "Would you like a massage?"

But Ross said on The Rich Eisen Show that Brady didn't actually have any issue with it.

"Come on, come on, no way, no way," Ross said to Eisen. "He's having fun. You know, it's like that's his dad. Robert Kraft is like a father figure to him, he was just showing his love for Robert Kraft."

Ross added he even heard from Kraft after the show.

"He was so happy that I gave him a shoutout and a salute, it was beautiful," Ross told Eisen.

But this is the world of social media, where every moment is captured for all the world to see and takes on a spin and narrative of its own. Brady could come out and say he didn't have an issue with the Kraft joke and it wouldn't matter — the verdict is already in, as far as Twitter/X and Facebook are concerned.

Either way, who cares? It was a good joke and this was a roast. Ross knows this game and plays it as well as Brady played quarterback.
