Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice does not mess around when it comes to competition, even away from the football field.

A video posted on social media showed what happens when hecklers try to mess with Rice. They have a face-to-face confrontation with the NFL's all-time leader in receptions (1,549), receiving yards (22,895), touchdowns (197), and first downs (1,092).
The incident occurred during a golf tournament, the American Century Championship. As Rice swung from the tee, an unseen individual yelled, "Fore!" Rice finished his swing and then he ducked underneath the wire separating the golfers from the attendees.

"Hey! Hey! Yo! Hey," he yelled as he started walking toward the attendee. He then broke into a run as he chased down the individual, carrying his driver the entire time.
The camera angle did not show the face-to-face confrontation with the unidentified fan; it only showed a crowd of people gathering off in the distance to watch. The video then showed Rice walking back toward the tee box as the crowd cheered.
"You go, Jerry," one fan yelled. Another yelled, "You tell him!" Others in the group just applauded and whistled.
Once Rice returned to the playing area, he continued with the celebrity golf tournament. He faced off with a stacked field that also included former Eagles lineman Jason Kelce, former tennis star Mardy Fish, NBA star Steph Curry, LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam, MLB Hall of Famer John Smoltz, and former Cowboys quarterback-turned-broadcaster Tony Romo.
Fish won the American Century Championship. He held off former hockey player Joe Pavelski and Curry. Sorenstam finished fourth while Smoltz finished fifth.
Rice did not have the outing that he hoped at the celebrity tournament. He finished 41st in the 89-player field. He slotted in just behind TV personality Carson Daly and just ahead of former Green Bay Packers linebacker AJ Hawk. Former Family Feud host John O'Hurley finished last in the tournament.
