New Jets WR Davante Adams Crashes Aaron Rodgers Interview

Aaron Rodgers makes regular appearances with ESPN talk show host Pat McAfee. Now, Davante Adams has made at least one — with Rodgers. That happened Tuesday morning, when Adams snuck in behind his old, and now new, teammate during a Rodgers interview.

The Jets acquired Adams in a trade with the Las Vegas Raiders earlier in the day, reuniting Adams and Rodgers, once standout teammates with the Green Bay Packers.

"How pumped are you?" McAfee asked Rodgers.

Rodgers responded by saying he's "obviously really excited."

He went on to explain how he considers Adams a friend and that he looked forward to playing with him again. And as McAfee started to ask another question ... in walked Adams behind Rodgers, offering a smile and a wave.

"What's up fellas?" Adams asked while cradling a football. "Hey thank you, man. Appreciate it."

McAfee then asked Adams about his injured hamstring, and Adams responded that he's "feeling great." He added that he should be "ready to roll" for the Jets' next game.

"Should be able to pick up where we left off. That's the idea," Adams said of his on-field chemistry with Rodgers, referring to his quarterback as the "OG."

The topic then switched to the Taco Bell commercials, about which Rodgers told Adams that he "loved." Now, Rodgers, Adams and the Jets are hoping to cook up something even better together.

As it stands, New York is 2-4 after Monday night's close loss to the Buffalo Bills. Rodgers ripped the officiating (both ways) afterward, as we relayed here.
