The New York Jets came into this season with high hopes. A healthy Aaron Rodgers, an assortment of offensive weapons, and one of the top defenses in the NFL had all the makings of a Super Bowl contender.

Jets Fans Erupt With 'Sell The Team' Chants
Unfortunately for Jets fans, that notion never came to fruition. This season has been another blunder and their hopes of breaking their decade-plus-long playoff drought have dwindled.
The Jets' struggles were on full display in primetime during their Thursday Night Football matchup against the Houston Texans. Fans in attendance for the game at MetLife Stadium, vocalized their disdain, urging owner Woody Johnson to sell the team.

Texans Coach Makes Strong Statement Following Diggs Injury
During the offseason, the Texans put together a roster that was equipped to make a deep playoff run. After making it to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs in 2023, the Texans added Stefon Diggs and Joe Mixon to an offense that was already star-studded. But injuries have derailed the Texans' hopes at a potential title. Both Diggs and their other star wide receiver, Nico Collins have suffered season-ending injuries.
With the November 5 trade deadline quickly approaching, some fans are clamoring for the Texans to go out and get a wide receiver. But head coach DeMeco Ryans believes that the remaining wide receiver core that the Texans have is enough to get the job done.
"One thing that sticks out, Hutch, Metch, all those guys just from our last game just showing guys winning their one-on-one opportunities," Ryans said after Houston's win over the Indianapolis Colts last Sunday,
"Hutch going to the ground there making a tough catch. Metchie finding a way to win in an off-schedule moment there in the game and come up with a big catch. That's all we ask is win your one-on-one and make the plays that you are supposed to make. If guys do that collectively as a team, we will be just fine."
The Texans, despite all the turmoil that they have endured, sit atop the AFC South division with a record of 6-2. But with the roster as scarce as it is they cannot afford any more losses at this point of the season.
