JJ Watt Had the Perfect Reaction to Everyone Making Fun of His Hair

Former Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals defensive lineman JJ Watt was helping with coverage of Super Bowl LVIII for CBS, but it seemed like the only thing that fans could pay attention to during the broadcast was his hair.

Watt sported a brand new hair style that had NFL fans cracking jokes at him on social media. Jokes on X included comparisons to Jason Bateman's character from Dodgeball, old photos of Brad Pitt, and plenty of references to the early 2000's.

While other celebrities might have been over sensitive about the moment on the biggest possible national stage, Watt seemed to have a great sense of humor about his new look. Watt took to X during the Super Bowl to crack a joke of his own about his hair.

The 34-year-old former Texans star served as a studio analyst for the NFL on CBS all season, staying close to the game following his retirement after the 2022 season. Watt is widely considered one of the best defensive players in NFL history, winning Defensive Player of the Year three separate times while earning seven All-Pro honors and five Pro Bowl selections. He retired after 10 seasons with the Texans and another two with the Cardinals, leaving the league with an NFL record of two seasons with 20-plus sacks.

Along with being a studio analyst for CBS, Watt has found plenty of ways to stay busy in his first year of retirement. Alongside his wife, pro soccer player Kealia Watt, the two purchased an ownership stake in the Premier League football club Burnley. The club is currently enjoying their time in the Premier League after winning the Championship last season, allowing them be promoted to England's top-flight football league.

Hopefully the Premier League fans won't be as hard on Watt for his hair style.
