Bears Coach Talks Improvement For The Rest of Season

When the Bears drafted Caleb Williams out of USC with the number one pick, many considered it a move that would forever change their recent string of bad luck. But so far, that wish has not come to fruition. Williams and the Bears have struggled mightily this season.

Coming into Week 15 they are dead last in the NFC North Division with a record of 4-9 on the season. With the playoffs being out of reach for Williams and the Bears, they are searching for any type of motivation to help them finish the season on a positive note. A matchup against a divisional opponent may be just what the doctor ordered.

The Bears made a major shakeup this season, firing head coach Matt Eberflus and elevating assistant coach Thomas Brown to interim head coach. Ahead of a key division rivalry game, Brown says he is also focused on personal improvement.

"I'm always reflective every single day, not just after games, about how I can improve to be the best I can be for this entire unit," Brown said. "The ultimate grade is having success and winning football games. That's still not where we need to be, but always trying to find ways to adapt and adjust myself, how I call the game, and picking and choosing spots to be more aggressive at times, is something I always reflect on."
