John Harbaugh still doesn't have an offensive coordinator in New York, but that's not stopping him from stacking the rest of the room.

The Giants are expected to hire Grant Newsome as assistant offensive line coach, as relayed by the New York Post. And Harbaugh can thank little brother Jim for the hookup.
Newsome, 28, was a promising offensive lineman at Michigan before a brutal knee injury in 2016 ended his playing career. But Jim Harbaugh wasn't about to let him walk.
He kept Newsome in the building, first as a student assistant, then as a grad assistant. By 2022, Newsome was coaching tight ends on a national title-winning Wolverines squad.
After Jim left for the Chargers, Michigan's new head coach Sherrone Moore promoted Newsome again, this time to offensive line coach.
Now he's headed to the NFL.
The Giants haven't filled their main O-line coaching job yet, but Newsome slides into a support role as John Harbaugh builds out his first staff in New York.
Carmen Bricillo, who handled the line the last two seasons, is out. He's reuniting with Brian Daboll in Tennessee. Tight ends coach Tim Kelly is sticking around, one of the few holdovers from the previous regime.
Harbaugh's still hunting for his offensive coordinator. He's done virtual interviews with former NFL head coaches Kliff Kingsbury and Brian Callahan, plus Jim Bob Cooter, Davis Webb and Alex Tanney.
No final decision yet. But the Harbaugh pipeline is already flowing.
