He's naturally a hot name when it comes to filling coaching positions — whether it be NFL or college. After being linked to Tennessee's job, Texas and now the Los Angeles Rams job, Gruden spoke out on the possibility of him leaving his comfy gig with ESPN's NFL coverage on Mike and Mike, per Pro Football Talk:
"I'm very happy doing what I'm doing," Gruden said. "My full attention and focus is on Cowboys-Lions, I cannot wait for our final Monday night game. There's a lot of chips on the table. Right now, I have no intentions of coaching. I really enjoy what I'm doing and feel like I'm really close to the fire. I'm getting plenty of satisfaction out of doing what I'm doing."
Gruden didn't exactly definitively answer one way or another, and you have to wonder if the Rams offer total control of the team, if he'll jump from the broadcast booth back to the field.
